เมื่อใดผู้รับฝากจำต้องคืนเงินแต่เพียงเท่าจำนวนที่ฝาก ผู้ฝากจะเรียกถอนเงินคืนก่อนถึงเวลาที่ได้ตกลงกันไว้ไม่ได้ หรือฝ่ายผู้รับฝากจะส่งคืนเงินก่อนถึงเวลานั้นก็ไม่ได้ดุจกัน

English translation
Where the depositary is bound to return only the same amount as was deposited, the depositor may not demand repayment before the agreed time, and equally the depositary may not repay before that time.
