เมื่อตัวการมีประสงค์จะทราบความเป็นไปของการที่ได้มอบหมายแก่ตัวแทนนั้นในเวลาใด ๆ ซึ่งสมควรแก่เหตุ ตัวแทนก็ต้องแจ้งให้ตัวการทราบ อนึ่ง เมื่อการเป็นตัวแทนนั้นสิ้นสุดลงแล้ว ตัวแทนต้องแถลงบัญชีด้วย
