ในกรณีที่คู่สมรสฝ่ายใดฝ่ายหนึ่งมีอำนาจจัดการสินสมรสแต่ฝ่ายเดียว คู่สมรสอีกฝ่ายหนึ่งก็ยังมีอำนาจจัดการบ้านเรือนและจัดหาสิ่งจำเป็นสำหรับครอบครัวตามสมควรแก่อัตภาพได้ ค่าใช้จ่ายในการนี้ย่อมผูกพันสินสมรสและสินส่วนตัวของทั้งสองฝ่าย
ถ้าคู่สมรสฝ่ายใดฝ่ายหนึ่งจัดการบ้านเรือนหรือจัดหาสิ่งจำเป็นสำหรับครอบครัวเป็นที่เสียหายถึงขนาด อีกฝ่ายหนึ่งอาจร้องขอให้ศาลสั่งห้ามหรือจำกัดอำนาจนี้เสียได้

English translation
Where one spouse has the sole power to manage the marital property, the other spouse still has power to manage the household and to provide the necessaries for the family as is appropriate to their condition in life. The expenses of doing so bind the marital property and the personal property of both spouses.
If one spouse manages the household, or provides the necessaries for the family, in a way that causes serious damage, the other may apply to the court for an order prohibiting or restricting that power.
