ในกรณีทำให้เขาถึงตายนั้น ค่าสินไหมทดแทนได้แก่ค่าปลงศพรวมทั้งค่าใช้จ่ายอันจำเป็นอย่างอื่น ๆ อีกด้วย ถ้ามิได้ตายในทันที ค่าสินไหมทดแทนได้แก่ค่ารักษาพยาบาลรวมทั้งค่าเสียหายที่ต้องขาดประโยชน์ทำมาหาได้เพราะไม่สามารถประกอบการงานนั้นด้วย ถ้าว่าเหตุที่ตายลงนั้นทำให้บุคคลหนึ่งคนใดต้องขาดไร้อุปการะตามกฎหมายไปด้วยไซร้ ท่านว่าบุคคลคนนั้นชอบที่จะได้รับค่าสินไหมทดแทนเพื่อการนั้น

En cas de décès, l'indemnisation comprend les frais funéraires et autres dépenses nécessaires. Si le décès n'est pas survenu immédiatement, l'indemnisation comprend notamment les frais médicaux et le préjudice moral lié à l'incapacité de travail. Si, du fait du décès, une personne est privée de son soutien légal, elle a droit à une indemnisation.
