The person appointed to collect the estate, pay the debts and distribute what remains to the heirs (ผู้จัดการมรดก). In Thailand the appointment is made by the court on the application of an heir, an interested person or the public prosecutor (Section 1713); the person named in the will is normally the person the court appoints. A minor, a person of unsound mind or adjudged quasi-incompetent, and an undischarged bankrupt cannot serve (Section 1718). See successions en Thaïlande.
