Whoever counterfeits currency, whether by counterfeiting coins, banknotes, or any other thing issued or authorized to be issued by the Government as currency, shall be punished with imprisonment for life or imprisonment of ten to twenty years and a fine of two hundred thousand to four hundred thousand Baht.
