Whoever, having become aware of or having obtained the secret of another person by reason of being an official, a medical practitioner, pharmacist, druggist, midwife, nurse, priest, advocate, auditor, or assistant in such profession, discloses such secret in a manner likely to cause damage to any person, shall be punished with imprisonment not exceeding six months or fined not exceeding ten thousand Baht, or both.
Whoever, having received an order from an official or from any person in any profession mentioned in paragraph one, becomes aware of the secret of another person by reason of performing duty under such order, and discloses such secret, shall be liable to the same punishment.
