Whoever threatens another person that harm will be done to the life, body, liberty, reputation, or property of the person threatened or of a third person, so that the person threatened gives or will give any property or other benefit to the offender, commits extortion and shall be punished with imprisonment not exceeding five years and fined not exceeding one hundred thousand Baht.
