Any person who is sentenced to a fine and does not pay the fine within thirty days from the date of the judgment shall have his property seized for payment of the fine, or shall be confined in lieu of the fine.
But if the Court thinks there is a reasonable cause, the Court may order the person to furnish security or may order confinement in lieu of the fine before the expiration of the said period, if there is reason to believe that such person will evade payment of the fine.
The provisions of Section 24 shall not apply to confinement in lieu of a fine.
