Whoever compels another person to give or to consent to give any property or other benefit to the offender or a third person by threatening to disclose a secret the disclosure of which would cause damage to the person threatened or to a third person, commits blackmail and shall be punished with imprisonment of one to ten years and fined of twenty thousand to two hundred thousand Baht.
