ในหมวดนี้
"บัตรอิเล็กทรอนิกส์" หมายความว่า
(๑) เอกสารหรือวัตถุอื่นใดไม่ว่าจะมีรูปลักษณะใดที่ผู้ออกได้ออกให้แก่ผู้มีสิทธิใช้ ซึ่งจะระบุชื่อหรือไม่ก็ตาม โดยบันทึกข้อมูลหรือรหัสไว้ด้วยการประยุกต์ใช้วิธีการทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ ไฟฟ้า คลื่นแม่เหล็กไฟฟ้า หรือวิธีอื่นใดในลักษณะคล้ายกัน ซึ่งรวมถึงข้อมูลที่ได้บันทึกไว้ โดยวิธีการดังกล่าวนั้น เช่น บัตรเครดิต บัตรเอทีเอ็ม หรือ
(๒) ข้อมูล รหัส หมายเลขบัญชี หรือสิ่งอื่นใดที่สามารถนำไปใช้ในระบบอิเล็กทรอนิกส์หรือระบบอื่นใดที่ทำนองเดียวกัน เพื่อเข้าใช้ประโยชน์ในระบบและให้ได้มาซึ่งเงินตรา สินค้า หรือบริการ หรือเพื่อให้ระบบทำงานให้แก่ตนหรือผู้อื่น

In this Chapter:
'electronic card' means:
(1) a document or any other object of whatever form issued by the issuer to the person entitled to use it, whether naming such person or not, in which data or codes are recorded by the application of electronic, electrical, electromagnetic, or other similar methods, including data recorded by such methods, such as credit cards, ATM cards; or
(2) data, codes, account numbers, or any other thing that can be used in an electronic system or any other system of a similar nature in order to access the system and obtain money, goods, or services, or to cause the system to operate for oneself or another person.
'electronic card' means:
